Setting up your wedding disco at the Clock Barn

We have played at the Clock barn on many occasions and so we are very familiar with the best ways to get set up, we have outlined a couple of the different options below along with our own personal recommendations. If you were to select NGB discos to provide your wedding DJ on the night, the process would be as follows…..

We aim to get to the venue at 5pm for a 7pm start. This gives us plenty of time to get our equipment into the wedding venue and get setup whilst you are still having your wedding breakfast.

The two main options in terms of where the disco can be set up are firstly in the corner to your left as you walk in the door from the outside. Or along the main back wall again to your left as you walk in. We have included a couple of photos below to explain what we mean.
We personally think that our disco, in particular, looks better against the back wall. Our disco setup is quite large and so fills the space nicely whereas it’s a bit squashed in the corner. Also, we like to think one of the many reasons you have decided to book one of our wedding discos is due to the fact that our setup looks awesome and so you want it to be as visible as possible. Being in this position does allow for the music to travel better down the length of the venue also. Of course, this is merely our opinion and we can cater for either setup

In terms of the Light up love letters, these work best on the wall directly opposite the door, the main reason being they are nice and viable to everyone entering the room but at the same time are out of the main walking/dancing path and so prevents anyone falling on them or knocking them over.

We will announce such things as the cutting of the cake, your first dance, buffets open etc for you, all of which is organised by the team at the Clock barn, so they will keep us informed as to what times all of these events will be occurring
